Theme #1: Dielectric properties of Dirac materials

The research is conducted on dielectric properties of novel materials such as Dirac and Weyl semimetals.  The collective plasmon modes of many Dirac electron systems are investigated theoretically with particular attention to the role of the Coulomb interactions in their formation. The surface plasmon modes in Dirac semimetals, present due to the bulk plasmons, are also investigated, as well as their coupling to the Fermi arc plasmons in Weyl semimetals.

Theme #2: Spectral properties of Dirac materials

The spectral functions of many Dirac electron systems calculated within the G0W0 approximation comprise the contributions of the plasmon modes.  We analyze the renormalization of the free-electron spectral weights and the appearance of plasmarons due to the plasmon modes.
