The Department of Chemistry participates in running the undergraduate study programme Biology-Chemistry (six semesters), undergraduate study programme Biology (six semesters) and graduate study programme Biology and Chemistry, specialisation in Education (four semesters). The programme in Chemistry covers fundamental chemistry courses with a focus on practical laboratory work by students as well as modern, various teaching methods in chemistry classes.

In collaboration with the Department of Restoration and Conservation at the Arts Academy, the Department of Chemistry participates in teaching the programme in Chemistry from the integrated study programme at the Department of Restoration and Conservation. Moreover, the Department of Chemistry participates in teaching the study programme Mediterranean Agriculture at the University of Split in cooperation with a number of departments at the University of Split (university Department of Maritime Studies, Faculty of Economics) and its partner Institute for Adriatic Crops and Karst Reclamation.

The Department of Chemistry, together with other departments at the Faculty of Science, offers ongoing schooling in the interdisciplinary scientific postgraduate study programme Education Research in Natural and Technical Sciences with specialisation in Chemistry.
