Every four years the Croatian Mathematical Society awards the Croatian Mathematical Society Award to a young mathematician (under 35 years old and resident of Croatia) for outstanding research contributions to mathematics. The President of the Croatian Mathematical Society announces the Laureate at the opening ceremony of the Croatian Mathematical Congress. Afterwards, the awarded young scientist gives a lecture on his/her scientfic work.

2000: Andrej Dujella, University of Zagreb
2004: Goran Muić,, University of Zagreb
2008: Ozren Perše, University of Zagreb
2012: Igor Velčić, University of Zagreb
2016: Ante Mimica, University of Zagreb (posthumously)

Ante Mimica, unfortunately passed away before receiving the prize, following which the Croatian Mathematical Society decided to name the future awards after him.
