ERASMUS+

The Erasmus+ programme enables the students visiting the Faculty of Science to carry out either of the activities described below.

Erasmus+ student mobility for studies

The study period must be part of the student’s study programme to complete a degree at the first cycle (Bachelor or equivalent), the second cycle (Master or equivalent) and the third or doctoral cycle. Student mobility for studies includes attending courses or preparing a thesis.

You can only study under Erasmus+ programme if your Home University has signed an Erasmus+ agreement with the University of Split and the Faculty of Science. For the list of partner universities, please visit the link.

If an Erasmus+ agreement is currently not in place with your University, you may be able to come to the University of Split as a visiting student (‘free-mover’) on a fee-paying basis.

All study programmes delivered by the Faculty of Science are available to international students. However, at present time, we do not offer full lectures in English. Students are provided with individual consultations, literature and exams in English. Laboratory exercises are carried out in a small-sized group of students, with instructions available in both languages (Croatian and English). Some courses may not be offered each academic year. Students are required to check the availability of their preferred choices by contacting the Erasmus coordinator.

For more information on the application procedure, please visit the University of Split incoming students web page.

Erasmus+ traineeship

Foreign students can spend a part of their studies at the Faculty of Science under the Erasmus+ traineeship programme.

It is the responsibility of the interested students to contact and find appropriate supervisors for their traineeship position. The offer of traineeship positions during the summer months, particularly at the end of July – August period, is limited due to the summer break.

Additional traineeship positions may be offered through the student exchange programme organised by IAESTE association .

For more information, please visit the University of Split incoming students web page.
