Collaborations

My research interests are related to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interaction Design (IxD) fields which acknowledge that understanding users, their tasks, needs and capabilities but also limitations at the same time, is at the core of successful design for all interactive products. Here the term interactive product is used generally to refer to all classes of technologies, interactive systems, environments, tools, applications, services and devices. I have been involved or am currently participating, as coordinator or as partner, in a number of internationally and nationally funded projects. For the past ten years I have reviewed research project proposals for the EU and I am Croatian representative in IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) Technical Committee on Human-Computer Interaction (TC13). Apparently, the aforementioned activities along with conducted research have established good base ground for broad international research network and numerous fruitful collaborations and partnerships with institutions like Athabasca University in Canada (School of Computing and Information Systems), University of Cyprus in Cyprus, Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics in Germany (Information Visualization and Visual Analytics), National Technical University of Athens in Greece (Biomedical Engineering Laboratory), Hellenic Open University in Greece (School of Science and Technology), University College London in United Kingdom (University College London Interaction Centre, UCLIC), Middlesex University London in UK (School of Science & Technology), The European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN), European Schoolnet in Belgium.
